Building a Startup together after marriage can be a daunting task
When I decided to embark upon this journey of building Booknerds in 2015 it was not such a hunky-dory time for us overall. There was a lack of money and I had recently been fired from my Engineering Teaching gig,I had absolutely no clue of where I was going in life.
On the personal front, I was not so trustworthy as well lying at the drop of a hat!

This year has been a whirlwind of professional highs and personal lows
On one hand, me and my co-founder have achieved most of our targets 1. building an even better team 2. scaling up our Book Events 3.levelling up Booknerds Podcast 4. reading more awesome books 5. meeting some amazing authors 6. getting featured on prestigious platforms and media 7. launching an author agency The point I am trying to make is that not everything is hunky - dory even if one is hitting business targets ,And slaying on Instagram

Please stop calling literature events in colleges and schools as litfests
Having attended some of the best litfests in the country like Jaipur Literature Festival and Bangalore Literature Festival it pains me to see the dilution of the format The beauty of litfests lies in the diverse set of readers, authors, book lovers and publishing professionals I have met during these festivals

Maria Goretti,TV Host & Author

Delighted to be part of the Booknerds Podcast because number one is, I think, , it was very well conducted. There was enough material to talk about, which means a lot of homework was done, and that is always very flattering when you get onto a podcast if the person talking to you knows at least a little about your work.
Well, not only did he know a little, but he also knew a lot. So it was very interesting. Also, the way it was conducted was very good. It was very well-rounded, and , it's a pleasure to talk to somebody who knows books, who knows writing, who knows poems, who knows a bit about the world, who knows about, emotions.
It was a very interesting experience and, would be repeated in the future if ever wanted.
It was wonderful. It was my first experience being on the other side of a podcast, which was interesting. It felt natural. The questions were also great, and it became more of a conversation. I forgot I was part of a podcast and enjoyed the conversation.

Nona Uppal (Author,Fool Me Twice)
